TGIF

TGIF!I got a sudden urge to meet friends! For dinner, for drinks.. Whatever!

Working on Fri evenings seems so unbearable! Nonetheless I made it to the studios on time. Guess the weekend mood was pretty evident, with Abba’s Dancing Queen as the opening song. Thruout the show, I was chasing people out of their offices/ students away from the computer.. Shoo! Go out and have fun!

Jack and Jan SMSed me at 10:58pm from the radio gate, “Stop talking and get your arse out here!” Haha. Techically, I could have recorded my stuff and zoom out of the studio.. But ethically, I can’t be the irresponsible person and record my stuff right? Yup, I still have to say the daily “I’m Cruz, Good night.” and play the closing “Dream A Little Dream of Me

Barely 3 hours after he took his dinner, Jack was ordering a Pan Fried Linguine and all-too-enthusiastic about getting a little slice of choc cake. Talk about bad influence/ peer pressure!

Over that meal, I was still hyper active– who wouldn’t?! having spent most of the day in dreamland. Meanwhile, Jan was overwhelmed by her last day of work. As she recounted how sad her pantry auntie was, Jack’s eyelids grew heavier and heavier.. Wonder if it’s got something to do with the nature of the story, or was it pure fatigue…

Being a primary school teacher, and fighting for the attention of some noisy rascals sure isn’t easy… Imagine trying to talk when you hear/ see 20, 30 kids talking at the same time.. I’m so glad when I talk in the studio, everybody got to shuddup. Hiakz
