Day 2
Stepped into Radio Building this afternoon with a hand firmly placed on my tummy. I wonder who started that. No use at all! (for me at least…) Huishi provided a remedy from Thailand, much like the 保济丸 we’re more familiar with.
The production suite was occupied with Peifen and our part-time DJs. After our round of revamp, the weekend programming is taking on a new look, (or “sound”, if you prefer..). It took a sheepish smile plus an act-cute “Pleeeeease” to make Peifen give up the seat at the editing booth. I completed my stuff in 15 mins before witnessing another round of “may i use first?“.
The all new 每次只有半小时 was launched at 8:30pm. Peifen, Li Teng, Junli and Jiahui were all extremely excited about the launch and demanded a full explaination of what we were going to do. Not that I didn’t want to.. The constant urge to visit the loo, and the ever-so-evident sensation from down under kept me from shouting and laughing with them.
Forty minutes into my shift, a headache developed. The tragic thing about having a “bright and sunshine-y voice” is that no one believes you’re unwell. Huishi asked me to tone down a little, another said i sounded like I was on top of the world.
Huh?! If you could just see my expression off air.
