Wanted to write about the beautiful Xmas tree @ Dasmond’s place, the LV wallet I gave my mum for Xmas and how I spent the day sleeping at home on Boxing Day.. And then I thought that didn’t matter much after all..

The mega earthquake that happened yesterday was a major major tragedy. You could be obsessed with the little things in life: bitching about your neighbour, complaining oil prices went up, worrying which Gucci to buy next… But when something like that occurs out of the blue, when more than 12,000 lives are wiped out in a matter of hours, it just hits you smack on the head that how little, how small, how helpless we humans are.

Saw this idiot on news, complaining that he cannot get back a refund for a cancelled trip to one of the affected areas. Come on! Who cares if you lose a few f**king dollars.

People have more important things to do, such as retrieving thousands of dead bodies and clearing the f**king mess. Who cares about your miserable couple of dollars. I think he should thank his lucky stars he wasn’t there a day earlier.

Speaking about luck, we are freaking fortunate the tremors didn’t cause substantial damage to this little island. That I could still blog, and you here to read.
