Boring Saturday
This has got to be one of the more unusual weekends in 2004. Haven’t stepped out of my house since I came back on Fri afternoon..
Was absent for Yanzi’s autograph session cos I was too sleepy.. When I woke up in the late evening, I had expected RSVPs for mahjong which I initiated.. What?!?! No replies? What has the world come to?!
Ok then.. I settled on another nap. Hahaha. Plus some leisure reading, channel surfing (I don’t have cable at home.. so you can imagine how short that surfing cycle is.. ), Pizza delivery via an over-enthusiastic auntie (”.. you sure you don’t want this XXX package? or how about YYY?…“) That was Fri night.
I perked up when Don invited us for mahjong on Sat… My heart sank 5 minutes later when he said everyone was busy. What has the world come to?!
So it was another round of leisure reading, covered practically all the English and Chinese dailies, my complimentary copy of 8 Days and I Weekly, my subscription copy of TIME, SK II newsletter (huh?)…
Finally finshed the final chapters of this book on marketing David Beckham, and a pictorial on this Taiwanese lady who married a Dutch man, and currently settled in US.Apparently this Dutch man has an ex wife from Norway.. Yeah, it’s that complicated.
Anyone working in MediaCorp Publishing reading this? … Now that my mahjong kakis have abandoned me…can you guys consider sending me a copy of Fann’s Girl Illustrated? Please…? =)
